Default Need Info on Cumberland River

I have fished a gazillion times on OHL (mostly bass, some striper) but I have never fished beyond the Hwy 231 bridge. I thought about running up to the Carthage area and do a little trolling tomorrow or Friday. Can anyone advise a good safe boat ramp in that area ? Also any tips on stripers this time of year in that area. Thanks
Steve

I have always used the public ramp by the bridge in Carthage. Cross the bridge going north on RT 25, take the first road to the left after the bridge then the first left again and follow it back to the ramp. Have never had any problems there.
