Default Old Hickory today.

I got finished with work early and decided to stop by lock 4 park. I had never fished there, so figured I'd check it out.

I'm glad I did. I got into a pretty big bass on a rattle trap and it ended up throwing the hook. After that I got an 8-10lb drum on the same lure.

I was getting ready to leave and decided to throw a small rapala around on my ultra light. I got a 1/2 dozen bass and a few shell crackers.

All in all it was a pretty good day. It definitely helped after my bunk day @ the caney last Sunday.

Pretty fish. I know catching those on an UL is a lot of fun.

Looks like fun. I always wanted to take the fly rod out there for bass but haven't ever got around to it yet.

Catching fish is fun. Period. It's always nice to bounce back like that! Good on ya for trying something different before ya called it, that'll make all the difference in the world most days.

Don't sweat coming up bunk on the Caney, it can be very humbling. I'd say you had a pretty good day!
