Default Smith Lake, AL

Wife and I are heading down to my aunts lake house next week and taking the boat. We're going to be on the west side near the national forest.

Anyone know anything about the lake as far as crappie and catfish?

Thanks,
Josh

I have always fished in the Ryan Creek area on the Good Hope side of the lake. In the early spring and post-spawn I love that lake for the crappie and bass action. In the summer it is a different animal, compounded by the pleasure boat and jet ski activity. Go deep and fish at night.
