Default Another day on the river

Just got blown off of the stones catfishing by the latest storm, luckily we landed a couple of fryers before it got too bad, thought I'd post a pic from yesterdays trip to the Cumberland where I got burnt like a piece of toast. It must be time to start night fishing again.

Yep, my new brother-n-law is a big cat fisher and has lots of local spots, its been fun learning new areas and I have a liking for fried catfish so it works out. As you can imagine he is starting to get the striper bug now, must be contagious.

I know it, getting ready to just throw a bottle of sunscreen out there to stay on the boat. I never think of it till its too late and I don't have any.

Haha I'm sititng here thinking what would happen if I hooked into something like that with the gear I use. Aside from the braid I have spooled on 2 of my rods, I think the heaviest line I have tied on is 12-pound test.

I can assure you that you would be holding the bare end of your line saying "what just happened"... I got the T-shirt for that one.
