Caught some bass today out of the yak, water clarity isn't bad at all except right against some of the shores due to constant wake from recreational boaters and wakeboarders.

I fished out of Pooles Knob Friday morning and this evening. Water looked fine to me, just a little bit color to it. Thursday, the topwater bite was awesome. Caught some bass on walk the dog type baits. Than the sun came out of the clouds and the top water bite died. I didn't catch anything this evening, but wasn't out long. I probably could have caught a few if I tried other lures. But I was stubborn and stuck with a Spook. Watching a bass smash the bait is just plain fun.

It's definitely hard to pull away from a topwater bite, nothing like it.
