Default Crappie on cranks

Put 16 nice crappie in the boat yesterday from 3-7 pm on JPP pulling cranks.

The fish were suspended and caught more with shallow running cranks than we did with the deeper running baits.

We lost at least a dozen fish that got off when they popped up on top of the water, but we had a good time.

Best fish was 14-1/2 inches. The rest were between 10 1/2".

Good luck all!

Did you happen to have any of the roostertails or spoons on?
