Default JPP Dam 6/3/13 and Fish ID

Headed down below JPP today. I actually was going to grab the waders and wade down the stones, but I never left the dam area.

I was very surprised when my first cast yielded a 15" rainbow. I really would have thought that they would have all been gone by now. But I managed just over 20 rainbows tonight in a few hours. All 13-15"ers too! It was pretty neat, just about all of them I sight fished. I would see them slowly swim buy, I would pitch my TM about 3 ft in front of them and they would ferociously attack it! They still fought very well and were very aggressive. I was very surprised! Also caught about 50 gills, all small but a handful of them, a few small crappie with one 11 incher, a few whites, a few yellow bellies, a drum, a skipjack, and this thing I posted a pic of. I am very disappointed the pic is not clear. It looked clear on the viewfinder. But what is this????

Fun afternoon!!

Good thing the trout are still there because the Caney sure isn't giving much wading windows. I would have thought they'd be gone from there by now too.
