JPP on 4/15

I have been learning the trout magnet for the past few months using the tips discussed on here by Alpha and others. I have finally been able to learn the action and feel of the lure. Many people say that Senko's are a can't miss bait but I have to say once you learn the lure TM/CM are deadly. I have yet to catch fish consistently on the Senko but I have caught fish every outing with the magnets but as I have learned how to present the lure in different ways my catch ratio is going up exponentially.

Enough said about the lure, today was a good day with 8 white bass and 6 crappie caught in about 2 hours and then an old bottom sucker drum at the end of the day. All were caught on TM's with a split shot rig with an even spread caught on white and black/chart. The drum was caught on the white. I missed several as well including a smallmouth that I was able to get on the bank before he jumped off and went back to the drink. All fish were released safely.

nice catch CR!! cool size reference on the shoe pic!!, is there a particular way to work the TM versus other small baits??
I went hog wild and bought a bunch of TM's, Bobby Garlands, Strike Kings and other different baits, etc you name it in all different colors but I have yet to find the best way to work it and make it produce to even half of what I normally catch on live bait

I didn't have anything to measure it against so I used the best thing I could find lol. I find that the "twitch" method works the best. I also use a slightly different rig than most, I tie a barrel swivel on then use about a 2 ft leader of flurocarbon. This allows the lure to move more freely in the water which I believe makes it more "natural" but also leave me enough room to add split shots or floats.

Have you ever tried the keystone minnow jig made by Renowsky? Its what I used prior to TMs and they catch a ton fished the same way.

You can find them in single packs at walmart or academy.
