Default Stripe (white bass) and yellow bass in the Stone's River

I just spent the last three days fishing the east and west forks of the Stone's River.
Monday we fished West Fork and caught about 60 fish, mostly yellow bass but we had about a dozen crappie (6 keepers), five largemouth, one smallmouth, and a few bluegill. We did not catch any white bass.
Yesterday we fished East Fork and caught 98 fish, again, mostly yellow bass, several white bass, one largemouth, 2 crappie, and a few bluegill.
Today we fished East Fork again. we caught 49 fish. All of them were yellow bass and white bass but again mostly yellows. However, we did catch more whites today than we did yesterday. No crappie, largemouth, or anything else except 3 bluegill.
We used Mepps spinners, rooster tails, and jigs with twister tails all three days. We did use some minnows Monday and yesterday. We saw other people catching fish on Rapala minnows and jigs.
Water temp varies from 60 to 63 degrees and the water is clear.
