Default Hey Trout Magnet guys...

Came across this looking for mini magnet videos. If its legit, then that is pretty impressive and wonder if Jeff seen it.

If it's accurate then this guy caught an 11lb 3oz largemouth on a trout magnet.

The video is very shakey. To me the fish doesn't seem that big but its still a monster on a TM.

I remember a video where Chad Hoover caught a 10 pound bass and a lot of the comments were it was not a 10 pound bass. But knowing Chad I am sure it was a 10 pound bass. I don't know if the cameras make them look smaller or not.....maybe MNfisher can speak to that. In my years of fishing the Trout Magnet I have hooked two bass that I know would go to the 8-10 pound mark....both at Nickajack. The line did not break...the hook pulled out. Both fish were very close so I got a very good look. Catching large mouth is not common using a Trout Magnet. Catching big Smallies....Spots....yes....but bigger large mouth rarely hit it. If I want a large mouth I will rig me up a Fluke....LOL. Never the less he did a good job to get that fish in.

Regards
