Default Got the TN and 2013 skunks off, finally!

I went down to Two Lock park today at around 4:30, only to discover that what i thought were fishing piers in google satellite view were actually old mooring for barges, and sat 30 ft or so above the water with KEEP OFF signs on them.

I decided to hit the Stones greenway over by Heartland.
I got my rod and backpack and headed down the path.

I got to the pedestrian bridge at the river and it started sleeting on me, so i am thinking that maybe its just not in the cards for me to catch fish in 2013.

I found shelter under the bridge and realized that there was a pretty good spot to cast under there.

I threw a squarebill crank, and hooked up with this nice white bass (Stripe) on the first cast. It was my only bite, but at least i can now say i have caught a fish in TN and in 2013.

Yeah, you said Travis, started sleeting as put boat in on PP, looking for those hybrids, they were sitting in 50 to 60 ft. wouldnt hit a thing. Day late and a dollar short.
