My wife and I eat at Black Jack Cove regularly. It is kid friendly, with great food and service. A nice place to sit outside have a few beers, food, watch a live band, the boats and water. I'm not affiliated in any way.

Behind the Dupont/Hadley Middle School in Old Hickory. It was remodeled after the flood, and I'm not sure if it's the same owner or not, but since the flood it is much nicer.

I got out Sunday morning for a few hours of fishing before Sarah flew in from a business trip.

I met her at home and we (me, Chad, Sarah) decided to hit Black Jack Cove for some early lunch. Well they were still serving breakfast and that dissapointed me when the waiter asked if we would like the buffet. We are not buffet people, but to our amazement they had 3 chefs at the buffet. The would cook you an omlet right in front of you with whatever you wanted on it, fresh prime rib right under the heat, potatoes, eggs, biscuits and gravy, cheese cake and chocolate chip cookies for desert. Also many other offerings. This was an amazing brunch, with great servive, and a guy playing a steel drum out on the patio. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Keep up the good work and looking forward to my next meal with you guys. Chad had to go to work, but this set the mood for the rest of mine and Sarah's day, we laid in the hammock enjoying the beautiful weather.
