Question FishFinder Trolling Motor Mount

I'm wanting to put a transducer on my trolling motor that is mounted on the bow of my boat. When I sit up front and fish I think it would make more sense to have the fishfinder reading there instead of the back of the boat where its currently reading.

My dilemma is this. I paid $60 for my Humminbird Piranahmax 150 when I bought it. The new transducer, so that I can leave the back one and swap between it and the front one, is up to $70. Figured having them where I can swap would be beneficial at some point.

It looks like the transducer mount for the trolling motor is nothing more than a large hose clamp. I can get one of those, but hate to pay $70 for a new transducer when the original whole unit was less than that.

Should I just buy a whole new unit, steal the transducer from it, and then have an extra unit if the current new one goes out?

Or, does anyone have a Humminbird transducer that would fit the Piranahmax 150 they would be willing to sell?
