Default Creek (In Nashville) - 03-28-2013

I went to a creek today after work, on a greenway trail near my work and walked and hit the banks as much as i could. The banks were extremely littered. Worse than any city creek i fished in Atlanta. The water was surprisingly clear though.
I saw what i think were 5 or so smallmouth under a bridge that were between 13-17"
I saw a couple random spotted bass in the smaller range as well.

I threw a weightless jr fluke.
I threw a finesse spinnerbait.
I threw a huddleston weedless shad swimbait.
and finally, I threw a shakyhead with a netbait baby paca craw.

I may have gotten a short strike on the spinnerbait, but not sure.
The water was still really cold, and i am sure that if i only threw the craw bait, i may have gotten bit, but i like reaction fishing so much better!

Glad you were able to get out and spot some fish. Sad about the bank being littered, no respect.
