Cumberland River
Went way down river today and it looked grim till about 1400 when I got on some fish. I only had five baits and they all got eat. Caught 4 lost one. all fish 22 to 26 lbs. Pretty fish ! Not trophys by any stretch but I was glad to see their faces. It's a good start. Had all kinds of trouble with posting these pics. Sorry. Regards

Dang old sailor! You specialize in big fish! The word "trophy" is relative. They are trophies in my book.......but more important is I am sure you had a ball catching those. I smelled wild onions tonight.....the fishing is going to get good now....LOL.

Nice fish Sailor.
I may bug you next week if weather holds. Got myself a kitchen pass to fish next weekend and may stay around here on the Cumberland or go to Dale Hollow for trout again. Want to catch a striper around that size by any means but have no real idea where to start minus a place in the dead of winter and a place in the dead of summer.

It may not sound like it but it's still tough. Water was 44 degrees but if you can find them they will eat a live bait. It will get a lot easier soon.

I may wait then until summer. My goal is a 25 this year. Will probably target something else next weekend then.
Thanks for the info.
