Unhappy Caney

Decided to make a final run to caney before moving to cumberland to search for rocks. Not a great day. Put in at dam and the fish were really active.Caught a couple of browns before storms hit and got one pic. Had five at Happy and a couple were real nice fat ones. Stuck my rod up in a tree and forgot all my anger management training (broke the tip off) new cabelas 10 ft salmon steelhead casting rod. Got to interstate and decide to make another drift and motor won't run but at idle. Takes me 45 minutes to limp into happy in driving rain. Things are not looking good. I yank the cowling off and pull fuel filter cover off , shake it out and slap it back on. Crank up and it misses a little and smooths out. Made it in no trouble but I am not going back downriver til I check this out so I come home. Hope everyone had a better day than I did ! Something sinister is happening to me!!

Looks like you had a good day before it all went south. Most of the days I tear up gear, there's nothing to show for it.

Yep they were doing their best to get in the boat with me, but I fought most of them off.
