Default Tims Ford 3/17 linesides

Been a couple of months since I've been able to get out and do some fishing. Glad to say that streak is over, just in time for spring. MNfisher and I took a trip to Tims Ford and had a great time messing with some of the schoolie linesides on light tackle. A mix of striped bass and hybrids were persuaded to join us on the boat, and a couple were even convinced to stay for dinner. Glad to say Mike caught his, so far, personal best hybrid today... an 11# beast. I'm sure he will be along to modestly show off his catch. We lost count at some point, but there were quite a few caught. Pictured here are a 9# striper and a 7# hybrid.

It was an incredible day! Thanks for the great time! Here in the pics you can see some of the bigguns, and also StriperFan holds our average hybrid for the day. And you can see what the graph looked like when we were catching! AWESOME!!

Default Live bait or artificials?

Were you using live bait or artificial. I noticed a jig in one of the photos. Great catch!

No live bait, all jigs and swimbaits.

Thanks everybody. I love it when a plan comes together, or is it, even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. I guess a little of both.
