Default Blue Cats

Hey,

Just wondering if anyone had some tips on fishing for some big blues. I have never tried, just want to add another species to my list! I have caught several flats and channels, but need a blue!

www.discovercatfishing.com

This site is Steve Douglas' site. He's a pro catfisherman and owner of monster rod holder's. There's a lot of good info on the website and links to his youtube videos that are also very informative. He primarily fishes for trophy blues. On top of being one of the best catfisherman in the country he's also a great guy and he uses his "celebrity status" to help promote catfishing and catch and release. If you went to the rally at old hickory dam and saw a truck that said monster rod holder's, that was Steve.

Richard Simms (rsimms) on here used to post quite a bit not a lot of fishing posts lately. He's a big time catfish guide as well.

Here's his site.

Sorry... I have been on the back burner for a while. I actually didn't fish much this winter... I have a new Lab and did a LOT of duck hunting. Even managed to put a couple of deer in the freezer.

But I have a brand new G3 Angler V170 with an iPilot Link that is ready to get "slimed."

Thanks very much for the props... so far this year I'm concentrating on crappie but catfishing will begin in earnest in April.
