Old Hickory 3/12/13

I know fishing after a cold front is always tough but what the heck...it's my last Spring Break and even a bad day of fishing is better than a day of no fishing.

Me and a couple buddies headed out to GSP around 10:00am, fished for a few hours and I got one small bass on a plastic worm, nobody else caught anything. Then we ventured out into the lake and drifted onto some shallow water with logs and sunken trees everywhere. I pulled out the spinnerbait and caught a 20" largemouth. 3-4lbs I'm guessing. That was the only other fish caught today.

That's why I'm taking full advantage of it now!! Starting June, I become a "working stiff" and although I love what I do I know there are going to be many days during the workweek that I'm dying to go fishing but I have to wait until Saturday.
