Are you able to put in canoe with trolling motor on Couchville Lake/ Long Hunter?

I think you can as long as you don't have a gas motor on any type of boat I think your ok. I would call and double check though to make sure. QUOTE=TroutFiend;29760]Are you able to put in canoe with trolling motor on Couchville Lake/ Long Hunter?[/QUOTE]

I fished out of Long Hunter Friday afternoon from 11-3:00 and I didn't have any luck. I was having a hard time controlling my little rowboat in the wind. I keep telling myself to pick up a windsock, but I never get around to it. There were alot of bird activity along the bluffs, so I'm assuming the baitfish were there.

Today I fished out of Jefferson Springs. Had decent luck there. Fished the flats by the ramp and caught 4 bass on a lipless crankbait. Moved over to the bluffs opposite of the ramp and caught 2 more on a shad pattern rapala. Fished from 10:30 to 1:00.

Good luck!

Went out yesterday long hunter no luck. I did some trolling and was marking some fish right off and around the channel at 25 to 30 ft. Several others doing the same. Only seen one fish caught not sure what it was though. Also was marking structure on the shore on my gps for when the water comes back up.

The crappie should still be suspended in 20-30 FOW off the ledges.

Troutfiend,

If you don't already know, keep in mind that if you put a trolling motor on the canoe, then it is under power and needs to be registered.
