Talking Roper Outdoors Crappie Academy

Heading to Dayton this weekend to attend the Crappie Academy put on by Jarad Roper (if my wife is better by then).

Looks like it should give me some pretty good info on crappie fishing. Has anyone here ever heard of this course? It's one day classroom instruction and one day on the water.

I'm rather new to fishing so trying to get my hands on everything I can. Reading through the posts here have tight me quite a bit (ie the crappie dock shooting thread).

Never heard of it, but then again I'm not really a crappie fisherman. I'm sure it's a good class and you will learn a lot. It's always a plus to learn anything about fishing, and classes are a great way to do that. I hope your wife gets better.
