Default Ft. Loudoun report

My son wanted to hit up Gander mt. So w/o the boat we headed east. I wanted to go to c.hull, but had to please the little one. It was well worth the ride. Fished below the dam. I could not believe how many fish caught by a handful of fishermen. Walleye, Sauger, tons of big White bass, and big Crappie. We fished to opposite side of the wing wall. Heavy generation with all gates cracked. Very light current on the side we fished. The water felt warm, but the bellys on the white bass, and crappie were ready to burst. I think the white bass spawn is getting close. 1/8th 0z. jig with lime green twister tail. Im glad the son and I had a good day fishing together. The next trip will be C.Hull.

Good luck,
Eric

I drove over that dam on Wednesday, full generation, and there were probably 100 gulls divebombing for shad. I was thinking "Man I bet there are so many fish feeding in there right now". Sounds like a good trip!
