Thumbs down I can't make the Meeting .. <'TK><

Guys, as much effort that this whole membership team has put into this effort and I wanted to personally thank everyone at the meeting. That has contributed via post, PM's, and personal emails ... and the dozens of silent members that back this cause who will be there ... I can't make it do to the medical conditions of my wife's Recent Knee Replacement ...

I would love to meet you all and be able to Speak for our Memebership ..

I started Fishing the Cumberland almost 7 decades ago with my Dad. I have fished below most of the Dams in question. I have more than a passing interest in this matter. I am now a retired fishing Guide from my Company Fishing Tennessee Inc . (FTI) . And a Certified Captain by the USCG. Via by holding a Merchant Marine Officer Lic. .. To Guide in all navigable waterways in the Commonwealth of Ky and the the State of Tennessee...

And presently Administrator of FishingTN.com with over 12,000 members and 30,000 threads and posts.

If any of FTI members get a chance to speak ... Remember ... This IS NOT A NEW POLICY!!.. The ER and EP 1130 text has not been changed since 1996..Not Mandatory.. There has been 8 other Commanders that did not see any reason why the policy should be changed ... And Col. Delapps excuse about 14 deaths in 43 years is Statistically Absurd !!!

I really want to thank TWRA and Doug Markham a long time friend for keeping Me in the loop with all the latest info and Data ... As well as Wade White, Exec County Judge in KY, and Sen. Rand Paul , and Mike Patterson ... And many other feeds that we have posted on here on the site ...

And lastly I want to Thank Rick Duty, We met almost 15 years ago when He and His wife were my Clients ... Many fishing trips that ended up by them moving to Tennessee from Illinois to enjoy the tailraces and the Great Lakes Of the South !!

As you have probably noticed ... Rick has championed this cause ... Because He believes in it ... Rick is probably one of the smartist Men I have ever met when it comes to research, and contacting the media to getting a good cause exposed ... To confronting the powers to be ... And just a Hell of a Nice Guy ... Plus I shall mention a retired VP of Sears that headed up the Diehard Nascar series ... Plus a Drag Car owner and Racer like myself ...

A lot of you have asked about him speaking at the meeting ...But I don't know ... Rick has some Family oblications ...

If he Did it would be Like Newt Gingrich speaking at the National Convention .. Newt as well as Ricks Mind is a National Treasure !!!

Now I know that 85% of the membership could care less about the Tailraces because you fish for Bass, crappie, bream in the lower parts of the fisheries ... But if you fish for stripers, sauger, walleye, baitfish, you have other members that seek them as well ... So support them ...

Bottom Line ... We can fight this ... It is not so much the issue at hand .. It is how the Corps. went about doing this ... Chapter 37 States that the local authorites can be brought into the discussions of this citation ... Col. Delapp decided that was not Necessary ...

Please show up and represent your rights and and the power of FishingTN.com !!! Thank you Gentlemen !! <'TK><

All of us thank you and appreciate your work on this effort. Everyone understands why you won't be able to attend. Good thing your wife has you to help out. That surgery is no picnic. I thought about trying to go but have thought better....just not ready for something like the meeting. Hope all is well with your wife. Once again...thanks for your work.

Regards
