Default harpeth trout

I heard they stocked the trout in the harpeth last friday near franklin. Did they do it at the lowhead dam like last year or has that been demolished? If so, is it still the same spot? hows the river since the project has been finished?

i was at the spring hill location and talked to the Tn wildlife dept guys that did the stocking and they did NOT stock the harpeth and did not know if they would this year due to worries about bank erosion. regards

the Harpeth is just north of me but I have never fished it. I have generally wade fished my local streams but I have recently bought a fishing yak though I haven't decided that I want to use it in moving water. Is there a good place to get details on the Little Harpeth and Harpeth about different stretches, dams, access points. I assume the Harpeth and Little Harpeth have smallmout and other warmwater fish.

Default Harpeth

While the paper said they stocked, they did not stock the Harpeth in Franklin due to bank concerns...this is aggravating for sure that we may miss all four stockings because of this project they did on the dam.
