I think boating all the way up to the dam would be a good place

With the amount of current pushing through the river right now I would go mid-lake and work the edges of the river channel??? Surely there will be bait holding in shallow current seams. Either way it looks like you'll see sunshine before a gloomy weekend - and you won't be in the office! Good luck!

No office for me. I am pretty much a stay at home dad. I have an almost 4Y/O son. So I decided I wanted to take up fishing.

I also keep a friends daughter too she's 3 and her/my oldest go to MDO twice a week as well. That leaves me and little britches several hours fishing time a week when weather allows. Before school started and keeping the other lil girl we went fishing or creek wading 3 times a week minimum.

In fact most my fish posts during spring/summer was trips with them.
