Bass Pro has a limited selection of 2# test. They used to carry the SOS 2# test. I consider that to be the best all around 2# test mono on the market. I have used the 2# P-Line CX Premium. It is a good line also....not the best knot strength but still a good line. Academy Sports used to sell 2# and also a 3# test mono. But you will get your best casting distance with a 2# test line.

The only place local that has the SOS trout magnet line is Joel's Caney Fork Outdoors up at Big Rock Market.

I am a big fan of that line but currently have the Trilene from Academy on it.

Well....if I wasn't laid up I could meet up with you and show you the technique I use. But I won't be able to fish until mid March. MNfisher and friend caught 60 between the two of them in only a couple of hours yesterday. If you keep going to Percy I am sure you will run into several who are Trout Magnet users and will be glad to give you some tips. Wish I could be of more help.....I am dyeing to get my surgery done...rehab....and back on the water.

Regards

Look for me at trout stockings around Middle Tennessee and I will help with TM's and if you need SOS line,2 or 4 lb I will have it along with some neon kits of TM's. Plus I have a lot of the other colors available.
Can not miss me because I am old and got long gray hair. About 6'3" and drive a 3500 Dodge gray Mega Cab truck.

Start off with Bison...then black....then white....and then just pick one if none of those are working.
