(1) Renosky Keystone Jig-

Available at Wal-mart (next to inline spinners), Academy, Bass Pro...etc. They come in single packs for about $1.50 and catch everything. I fished these exclusively before trying trout magnets. Rig and fish the same way as the Trout Mags they will catch same species Bass, crappie, trout, catfish etc. We used to keep all the Walmarts and Academy around us out of stock on them.

(2) Trout and or Crappie magnets.

Those two above will catch you tons of fish any where any time in my opinion.

If I had to pick something else and taylor it more towards my bass preference would probably be:

(3) Either the 3/16oz booyah pond magic spinnerbait in shad color (its white) or the standard 1/4 oz tandem blade chartruse and white spinnerbait. I really like the smaller one over the 1/4 since it can be thrown on a spinning rod. Bass don't seem to have a preference.

All three are carried at Academy.
