Default Cumberland River 11-2-12

Hit the river at around 7:30 and yeah, it was a bit chilly out but the river was like glass and it ended up being a really nice day. I mainly wanted to try some different lures like a buzzbait, tubes, flukes, stuff I rarely, if ever, use. Plus, I wanted to try out some of the areas that I scouted last week when my wife and I took the boat out.
If you like seeing lots of pics of dinks (and one pic of a deer), you can see the complete report here http://www.landinglunkers.com/2012/11/03/flying-solo/
Here's the only big bass of the day, caught on a 1/4 oz Strike King redeye shad in the sexy shad color, right up against the rock bluffs (which is what I primarily fished today:

Ha ha yeah that bass was pretty healthy. I didn't weigh it because I wanted to get it back in the water but it was nice and chunky.

If only every weekend was that nice!
