Default Fishin in the cold!

About to hit the caney in search of some trophy browns as nightfall approaches in this blustery north wind and cold front! I am anxious to see how it turns out!

I just remembered you're from Minnesota so you can handle it, I'd die night fishing tonight. My south Florida blood doesn't do well below 70 degrees haha. Good luck man, all your fishing posts especially the striper pics make me insanely jealous since I never have time anymore. Graduation in May can't come soon enough!

Good luck out there, the conditions will hopefully be just right. By the way I saw some nice striper by Gordonsville put in under the bridge.

MNfisher,

I'm headed below another dam Sunday morning. If you want to meet up, and you are thawed out, let me know.

Good luck! I hit Caney around 7:30 this morning, stayed out til around 1. Managed to get 3 brookies on the line around lunch time, but the window was only open about 30 minutes.

It was tough on the Caney today with the wind blowing one way then the other way. Wound up catching 14,my partner caught 13 and we both lost another 5 or 6 that got off. Most were of the smaller size but a few were nice size.We fished for about 3 hours around the boyscout path and steps.

It actually wasn't too cold, but it could have been my MN blood. I will post a report tomorrow!

Txnative, I have to pass on tomorrow, need to sleep in!!
