I know nothing about it either. I have caught something everytime I go. Not alot. But something. It's close for me. No gas motors allowed.

How was the fishing ? I haven't made it to that lake in over a year and I live 15 min from it.

I caught the one in the pic and a couple small Gills. I know nothing about the lake or really about fishing. I just enjoy learning. I also live about 15 min away. I am on the south side of portland. We should get together sometime and you could show me the ropes.

I doubt I will be on P'land Lake before next year, but I will let you know when my spare yak is available if you want to join me.

WOW!!! I love the coon pics. That is awesome. I would have just sat and watched them all day. 1 of the great things about fishing is enjoying all of God's nature and wonders.

You'd love to have been with me and whrizob from here one night feeding a bucket of crawfish to a family of them. We were fishing the bluffs close to Rockland one night and there used to be a lighted dock on it. After noticing the 3 or 4 coons, we coaxed them to the end and fed them all our bait. LOL.

It was pretty neat and we took pics but they aren't on the computer.

For some reason I have always ben fascinated with raccoons. I think they are such an amazing animal. I hate it when I see 1 one dead on the side of the road.
