Default Clarksville area?

My nephew is stationed at Fort Campbell and is taking up fishing. Any ideas on places for him to try in the Clarksville area? There is no boat involved, so he will need to bank fish or wade. He registered on here a couple of days ago, so hopefully he'll be joining the discussion. (hint, hint)

Fish at the fairgrounds (either in the marina's bay or on the river's bank) or at the Cumberland city steam plant. They also stock trout in the creek at Billy Dunlop Park on needmore rd. these are the best cool-cold weather spots in the area for bank fishing.

Another place I see people fishing at from shore is that corner of McGregor park where the Red River comes into the Cumberland. A week or so ago, I watched a guy pull in a nice striper from that spot, and my coworkers tell me you can also catch some nice catfish right around there.
