Default JPP Sept 7, 2012 Crappie

A good day on the JPP Lake. My fishing partner and I came home with 22, 11" or better crappie. Not close to one limit but we had fun and will save for a fish fry ar the Walter Hill Country Club.

Caught deep about 20 feet just off the bottom below the thermocline.

Water in good shape 82 degrees. A wonderful day on the water. Love daylight on the lake.

Congrats! I love a good mess of crappie. The wife and I have it twice a week. I haven't been out for awhile, I'll have to get off my lazy butt and hit it again.

Were you jig fishin brushpiles with jigs or minnows?

I've put out a bunch of brush and need to go hit it again.
