Default Old Hickory dam

Where is the nearest boat ramp from Wilson County?

There's one right below the dam on our side (Wilson) isn't there? I have also put in at the stones ramp off macgavok and fished up.

Shutes branch is the closest on the lake side in Wilson county to the dam. Then right below the dam, then Neelys Bend, then the one at McGavock.

There is a ramp just below the dam on that side. You get to it from Old Hickory Boulevard just past the Du Pont plant.

The Old Hickory ramp is the safest. I have horror stories of the other ramps.

The Dam is roughly mile marker 216 and the old Williamson Ferry site there at McGavock pike behind Opryland is at mile marker 198.

The Stones River enters at roughly mile marker 206 if you are talking about the new Heartland Ramp.

Well found the boat ramp and went below OH dam, 1 gen was going and they were spilling water, so I say perfect for skipjack..Wrong, none to be found!
