Default JPP in the AM

Am planning on fishing JPP in the early AM. Has anybody seen fish in the jumps/schooling on the surface? If so what area of the lake?

I have been catching crappie in the lower lake, coon island around deep water brush piles. Half small, half keepers. Crappie magnet, percy color.

Way to go jaycee. That Crappie Magnet in "Percy" can be a killer on all specie of fish. Hope you do well tommoorw.

Fished it Saturday late afternoon to early evening. So much bait in the water you could walk across it and it was getting chased all over the place. It was all little minnows. I tried all sorts of topwaters, rapalas, even down to a roostertail and didnt get a hit. I guess whatever was chasing those little minnows wasn't getting fooled by something bigger. Eventually went to plastic worms and that was the ticket. Me and dad caught several bass on them.

I probably should have tried the crappie magnet under those schools of minnows. I'd be willing to bet it was crappie chasing them. I got a glimpse of what was going after them and it looked like either crappie or white bass.
