Default 18" rainbow

Had a 18" rainbow absolutely destroy a rooster-tail this evening. It hit and jumped at the same time. I wasn't paying much attention as I was about to leave so it startled me. It probably jumped about 5 time before I could land it. I could just see me falling on my knees and weeping if it had thrown the hook. I also got a 16in rainbow and a 14in brook.

Nice going. Looking in the pics look like you were fishing close to the first bend...or in deeper water anyway.

Regards

It was one of the Lancaster pulloffs. Maybe about 3 feet deep.
I had to replace the treble hook because he bent it.
