Default "You and me go fishing in the Rain"

Put in at Sandy Chapel and started fishing the cover on the Cumberland River, was out there maybe 45 minutes and the bottom fell out of the sky. I put on the wet weather gear and went after them. I caught I would say 6 or so but these were the two hawgs of the day. Caught both on a KVD 1.5 sexy shad off the river bank, fish were shallow and holding on cover.

Were you fishing around the mouth of Barton's Creek? I think I might have passed by you.

My son and I went out this morning and were having a great morning. It RAINED but we wore the bass out. I had several LM and he had a few LM and one NICE SM. Hunter at one point <while I was bringing in what i thought would have been a world record LM turned out to be a nice catfish> that the water was coming over the back of the boat.. I hit the bilge pump... NOTHING. I finally got the boat up and on plane and made it back to the ramp. I wish I had of just looked while I was out there my output hose was disconnected from the pump. Oh well we still had a great day together.

Yup, I definitely saw you. I just didn't know it was you!

I was fishing out of a white Gheenoe with a poling platform. I'm sure you probably noticed me go by - there are not many boats around here that look anything like it.

If I pass by again, say hi! I was sight fishing with the flyrod, so once the rain started coming down hard, I couldn't do much good. I wound up taking shelter in that duck blind in the first cove up from the mouth of Barton's. It rained so hard I had to run my bilge pump to keep my boat from filling up with water!
