Great catch.

You were fishing from shore? What what lure did you use?

Newbie, read his first post on this thread. He suspended a bluegill, meaning he used a live bluegill for bait, under a bobber.

LOOOOOL
I search Google for "Suspended a bluegill," I thought this was the type of fish he caught and I wanted to make sure.

Thanks for the clarification dude.

Yes, I was fishing from the banks@Seven Points. I noticed this season that shiners are not working anymore as previous years. The two times I caught hybrid this year were using bluegill. And this year, the shiners I am getting from bait shop are very big ones. Still, no luck.

The screaming drags is now an earworm. Screams in my ears all day and night long. Can't wait to get the next one.

Vincent, are you ready to try fishing the river for rockfish/stripers?

Hi merv,

How about a weekend this Fall? My dad is with me now, on vacation from India for three months, and I have to take him almost every weekend bank fishing. He was so much looking forward to this vacation, and more importantly fishing Percy Priest. And, he doesn't want to go on a boat. :-) So, it will be Oct before I can go on a boat.

Thank you again for the boat ride offer. I saw your pics with MNFisher and jad2t, awesome rockfish they were.

Is Oct good time to catch rockfish?

Vincent.
