Thinking of striper fishing below the dam on Sunday. Anyone been recently. Iknow they havent been generating much lately and have had the flood gate open some for some current to flow. Lures or live bait?

I'm fishing it tomorrow morning very early for stripers. I'll let you know how we do.

They are generating constantly around 4000cfm, plenty enough to attract big fish.

They had all flood gates open spilling for a few day's now. I tried skipjacking from the bank with not much luck. I have found easier to catch skipjack around spillway when no generator is on. I'm sure you will catch something out by the spillway!
I did see shad breaking at the surface, but was not plentyful.

The floodgates are constantly open and thats where the stripers are. You can't reach it from the shore though. When they get back to running the generators, you will be able to reach that from shore and people DO catch stripers in that current from shore.
