Default Awesome bass fishing today!

Had a great time on the water despite my crank battery being dead when I launched. My grandson was playing in the boat and turned the power switch on...LOL, Glad I keep jumper cables on my boat. But had just an awesome fishing day today, and yet again all fish were caught oon a KVD 1,5 sexy shad. If you do not have a couple of these in your bag you are wrong. Three fish I would say were 3pounds or better and one prob pushing 4 pounds.

I think you catch more fish when you are throwing a bait that you have a lot of confidence in. I have several baits that i just feel my odds are increased when i throw them. Maybe it is the mojo that we transmit through the line.

I figured today might be a good day with the cloud cover and the fronts coming in tomorrow. Congrats!! Great day on the water!!

And you know I do not own all that fancy equipment, Poles,, reels and electronincs...I catch fish the old fashion way, I like the element of suprise! I have a two depth finders and a gps and that is it for eqiupment and those are lower end Humming birds. I do not purchase all that expensive line either! I can catch just as much fish with the best of them! My boat is a 1990 model with a Rude XP 150 it did not cost me
$40,000 it cost me $3000.00 and you know the fish I catch get landed in my boat just the same way as the big dollar boats. MMY poles are alll berkley lightning shocks and never had a problem with any of them, my reels are abu garcia silver max and black max and again never a problem with any of them. I think all this high dollar fishing equipment catches more fisherman than fish! It has been said that you get what you pay for,,,,And that is correct, I have gotten my moneys worth and still doing so! JMO!
