Default Alaska

I leave this Sunday for Juneau Alaska to fish for Kings-i hope to have some really good pictures. We also stop in Ketchikan, Sitka, and the Icy Strait-has anyone ever fished these areas from the bank?

ive been to cordova alaska several times 10 years ago and we were catching silvers on vibrax spinners, like any migratory fish you just gotta time it right, july-august kings spawn and september is good time for silvers. we were walking along bear trails to get to a tributaries where they rest(we were all armed). can catch a few before they get spooked, they will try to go through coverts and beaver dams. i remember the locals prized a catch of a good size wild rainbow trout. i miss it, remember timing is everything, good luck
