Got out this morning with a buddy and had a great time while getting blown all around the lake!!! We headed out with the idea to to play around and throw everything in the boat to see if one technique would out produce the others.
Well they all produced! We started off early throwing shallow water crankbaits and got into a mixed bag of some smallies and largemouths. Then we worked our way around to some deeper water and got fish on deep cranks and shaky heads. Probably could have got into some more fish this way but the wind made it difficult with the deeper fish (10-15ft). Aftergetting fed up with the wind, we changed spots and headed for some bluffs throwing deep cranks again, boat was in 35ft throwing to the bank and had hits right at the base of the bluff.
It was a great day with fish on everything we tried, staying around the lower end of the lake.
