Default I'm back..

Got the new Mac Book today and am back online. Went to Nickajack on Monday and had 10 big black Slabs. Went out to Willamsport Lakes today and just played around. Caught about 50 juvenile Black Nose Crappie.....beautiful fish! Also got into plenty of chunky hand size Gills. Will start posting pics again now that have computer again. Might go to Center Hill tomorrow to check out my spot...will post if I go.

Regards

Finally plugged back into the world...LOL.

I couldn't check my crappie spot this week as there were already three people on the bank and one in a boat around it.

At least I don't have to check it now...

Welcome back! Hey I have another TM question for you. I went ahead and bought floats like a lot of people including the person I spoke with on the phone suggested but not the specific floats from them. I went to WalMart and bought some cheap-o styrofoam floats and 4lb fluorocarbon line. I wen't to the Stones River to try these things out and....nothing. I switched to rapalas, 2"grubs, rooster tails, and got bass, TROUT, even a crappie surprisingly. Is there a specific type of float that works with these things? I really don't understand what else I could be doing wrong. I fished the exact same stretch of water with other artificials that I fished with the TM and caught nothing..but caught plenty of fish with the other artificial lures.

Any float will do. I saw your post on the TM facebook page. I will be happy to meet you sometime and show you the Trout Magnet technique. I can guarantee you that if I was fishing same stretch of water you were I would have caught the same as you caught with other lures. The TM is certainly not the only lure on the market...but it does catch a lot of fish. In your PM's you have mentioned you do not want to go down to 2# test line....but that is the key to that lure. I fish under the float when it is really windy....and it does quite well.....but twitching is the way to use that lure. The float is great in a trout stream...just by virtue of the way trout feed it makes sense to use it under a float. Just let me know when and where you would like to meet and I will be happy to show you.....just not in my fishing holes....LOL.

Thanks for the offer, I may take you up on that sometime and I won't ask for your secret spots haha. I have plenty of my own that I do quite well in but I'd sure like to see if the TM could increase my numbers.
