Default Old hickory

Water was stained today n cedar creek. Water temp was 60 to 61. Caught bluegill crappie and LM bass around docks. Nothing to brag about though. Trout magnet, jerk bait and square billed crank worked best. Finally got Oil changed in boat, too. Ready for the spring.

Found the same as you, water was 55 from Cages Bend area down to Cedar, warmest in back of both Cedar branches. Bunch of dinks on rattletrap in 4' - 8' depth range. Surprise at the amount of trash in main river channel.

Funny how much difference in Old Hickory and Barkley right now. Dad was down at Barkley on Friday and started the day overcast, drizzling rain and water temp was 63 degrees. It made it up to 68 at the highest.

I was out as well, only about 2 hours. I could not catch a thing. Got a couple dinks shallow on a squarebill, absolutely nothing on the plastics. Figured consecutive sunny warm days might have some on the bank... guess not!
