With the warmer weather, fishing is starting to pick up. Went bank fishing yesterday afternoon, ended up keeping 12 crappie.

Nicely done. What bank were you fishing? I worked the bank last night at Jefferson Springs and got into them but they were all small.

I think Kentucky Lake will be a hot spot for keepers this fall and the next few years. We caught a lot of fish in the 9-1/2 to 9-7/8 inches. We also had a bunch in the 8 to 9 inch range. Everyone was catching measuring and tossing back the shorts. I cleaned our catch today. We had 21 keepers 11 were females. I got my order from Barlow's tackle....I forgot to order my jig hooks. I had to call and order them. I hope they get here soon.
