Default Fishing This Weekend?

Looks like the rest of the week in the 60's with only one night really cold and the rest are about what the avg high should be this time of year. Plus a full moon on Thursday...

Man, I wish I was fishing this weekend instead of laying floors in my house.

Bet there is a big move of bass this week and next. Heck next week is 70's rain and S, SW winds.

Anyone gonna be fishing so I can cuss at your catch photos??

I'm going Saturday morning but I'm a little weary of the low temp drop Friday night. I hope that doesn't affect the fishing.

I hit Old Hickory for an hour after work tonight. Caught a few small bass and a bunch of sunfish off the banks in the back end of the creek. Shad were back there also. My guess is big time movements shallow with the full moon and the warm temps.

I can't wait for the daylight savings time change this weekend so I will have an extra hour after work to fish.

Good luck to everyone this weekend.

Jim

I'll probably go Sunday. I was going to hit the creeks for smallmouth, but I think the 2 inches of rain we just had this afternoon have probably squelched that idea.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do instead. Maybe crappie fishing.

Bd,

I'll be NE of Nashville working on a hot lead for large oncorhyncus mykiss. I'll pm you a report, or you can shoot me one before.

Btw, the area you pm'd me about was a bit too muddy for me to try. I went north and found better water and a scenario similar to what you described. Threw everything I had and ended up blank as to what is moving around in the MASSIVE bait schools. Very intriguing, though. I hope to get some livies in the area as soon as the water clarity returns to normal.

I'll be out crappie fishing somewhere on Sunday. Either Priest or OH. The lower end of Priest will probably have the clearest water with all the rain we are getting.

Dang.... everyone will be out.

Okay this is first come first serve only.

First person that wants to put in my wood floors while I fish in their place gets it. Any takers?

I'm headed to Bedford Lake in search of crappie and bass, hoping to have some fun on the flyrod as I hear the bluegill get pretty big in there. I hope the rain and cold overnight temps tonight don't slow down the fishing. I'll be fishing by 7am tomorrow.

Fishing is tough right now on Old Hickory. Went out again today and they seemed to be really spread out. Only caught 4 all morning but 3 were nice keepers around 9 lbs between them.
