We fished from 3:30 til 9 PM. Caught five small stripers, 2-3 lbs. Caught one striper 24.73 lbs, which was released. Also caught a couple of white bass and crappie.

Overall, it was a very slow night as there were three of us fishing hard for the entire time.

The smaller stripers hit on chartreuse 3" twister tail as did the white bass and crappie.

The big striper was caught on a 12 inch skipjack one of the guys caught with his fly rod.

The guys I've seen catching crappie there have been fishing TIGHT to cover. As in, practically camped out on top of it. The other fish may hold out in the channel more, but from what I've seen lately, if you want crappie, you've got to find one of the downed trees and really get up in it. That's not really my cup of tea, but a few folks seem to be having success with it.
