Default Cold Day of Fishing 2/11

I left out of the house about 10am stopping at 4 places before returning home about 1:45pm. Out of those places I only managed one bite.

This bass hit a red/white crappie magnet fished on 2lb test under a slip float in around 8 ft of water. For those who love catching fish and especially those that love seeing that float take a dive you have to really give Trout Magnets/Crappie Magnets a try. They simply catch fish.

I estimated it around 3.5-4lbs tops as the fish was pretty heavy. Probably closer to 3.5 than 4 though.

Default Crappie magnet fish

Man, she's a chubber alright. Good lookin fish especially whe it's the only one on a very tough day to fish.

I wimped out of a trip to the GSP tomorrow AM. 17 degrees is cooler than I like to fish in without an ice shanty around me.
