The actual "Riverpark" is a linear trail that runs from Chickamauga Dam downstream to downtown Chattanooga... about 7 or 8 miles.
There is one specific section on that linear trail called the Hubert Fry Fishing Center which includes several fishing piers specifically for bank fisherman. They are well-utilized... but rarely "crowded."
There is also a launching ramp there that lots of anglers use, therefore boat anglers have come to refer to that entire section of river, and sometimes even further downstream, as "The Riverpark." Of course it is technically Nickajack Reservoir, but it is a very different fishery ... about 45 river miles away from the main, lower end of Nickajack where I believe you fish.
However, if you know how to fish it, and adjust for varying current flow (just like Nickajack Tailwaters), it is very productive water. The overwhelming majority of my guide trips (except for crappie) are out of "The Riverpark." Check out my 2011 Photo Gallery.
