My goal was to see a launch just one.....up close. I was driving a flatbed load up the east coast on I think its I-75 early one morning before sunrise years ago and a launch had been postponed. I had just left the truck stop just in time to see them light it off all the way across the state! I pulled it to the side and climbed on top of my load to watch. I can only imagine what it must be like to be sitting in that drivers seat.......WOW it was like a roaring candle heading to the heavens. I was 75 miles or so away. AWSOME
Its a sad day that our leadership thinks we can do away with the space program. FOOLS
