Default Washing crankbaits in dishwasher

I was organizing my tackle last night and notice that several crankbaits were dirty. Put them in the dishwasher and ran through a cycle. Cleaned them remarkably well.

That's when you know your hooked. Thanks for sharing. Did you by chance use the heated drying process, did you use the normal, or heavy cycle, and what kind of detergent? Inquiring minds want to know.

Default Dishwashing details

My wife actually performed the washing. Light wash cycle with dishwashing detergent. There were some plates in the cycle also.

Most of us spend years building character into baits, cleaning them may improve looks somewhat additional cleaning will cause paint to fall off in places. Not built for the heat cycle.

Cool I really want to know

$1,000,000's has been spent marketing masking agents of humans for fishing lures, I.E. Human odor, gasoline, oils , soaps, etc ... If the Dawn or Palmolive works (CATCHING FISH) ... Let me know , I will market it and save a bundle on research ...
